Key Parameters: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0)
The training will be provided to Indian nationals who are school and college dropouts or unemployed. The motive is to provide the youth of India the ideal platform to get trained, skilled, assessed, and certified. The duration of training program varies with the selected job role. On the successful assessment, trainees will be provided placements from training partners.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Individuals with prior knowledge or experience are trained under this program. The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is created to transform unregulated workforce to become competent with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF). The training can be provided through RPL camps, RPL at employer’s premises, and RPL centres.
The special training will be given in special areas and premises of government bodies or corporate. The project comes under the special category as its requirements are different from those with short-term training and participant specific. Under this process, the stakeholder could be government institutions/autonomous body/statutory body or corporate who want to provides training to candidates.
Kaushal and Rozgar Mela
Training partners required to organize Kaushal and Rozgar Mela after every six months. They also require to actively participate in national career service job fairs. This will be mandatory to ensure all activities are happening as per terms and conditions of PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) 2.0 scheme. It encourages community and social mobilization that will be a critical factor for the success of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2.0 scheme.
Linking the attitude, aptitude, aspiration, knowledge, and skills of a skilled workforce trained under PMKVY 2.0 to potential employers. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2.0 training centres required to put efforts for providing placement opportunities to successfully trained candidates. Training partners shall also provide training support for entrepreneurship development in case of self-employment.
Using technology-driven methodologies to ensure high standards of quality are maintained by the PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) training centres. The PMKVY training partners, NSDC, and appointed inspection agencies require to use various methodologies in the form of surprise visits, self-audit reporting for ensuring high-quality standards of PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) 2.0 scheme.
